Blackened Salmon

I’ve tried a few ways to cook salmon, but this seems to be the only way my husband wants me to do it. Since he likes it so much, I always double up on the seasoning and keep the extra stored in the pantry for next time. Salmon is pretty pricey so I usually buy the frozen Atlantic Salmon and I promise you can barely tell the difference from fresh salmon. Since salmon is a delicate fish it’s important to have plenty of olive oil in the skillet and to let the fish sear for a couple minutes before you flip it. If you flip it too soon it’ll break apart and be one ugly mess. I hope you enjoy this yummy recipe and  that your salmon turns out perfectly!

Cajun Sausage Pasta

I don’t cook pasta often since it goes straight to my wittle muffin top lol. But when I doooo, this is my goto pasta. It’s cheesy, a little spisayyy, and just mm mm good. Sometimes I like to spruce it up and shrimp to it, but I’m sure it’ll also be yummy with diced chicken. All you need is a bowl of this and piece of Texas toast and you’re good to go. Next stop, nap-ville. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do! 💚

Barbacoa Style Tacos

I’ve tried authentic barbacoa tacos before and I was not a fan. Maybe it was the place I went to but the meat tasted too buttery..it was just weird.

Lucky for me this recipe is way more yummier. They aren’t your traditional barbacoa tacos but the meat is verrry tender since it cooks in the croc pot.

You honestly can’t go wrong with tacos. A taco a day keeps the abs away lol. You can add whatever toppings you want or even make a taco bowl with the ingredients! My husband usually just eats the meat with rice which is supper boring. So don’t be like him. Live a little and throw a little extra guac on there because you can. 😉💚

Asian Sauced Ground Turkey + Green Beans

This recipe is in constant rotation in our household. 1. Because it’s pretty quick to make. 2. Because it’s healthy minus the sauces lol. I don’t know about you but I HAVE to have some type of sauce or dressing on my food. There’s too many yummy ingredients out there in the world for you to be eating boring dry food. So when it doubt, sauce it up! 😉 This recipe can be made with any stir fry veggies or ground meat, but I always stick to turkey, green beans and carrots. Let me know if you tried out a different combo and how you liked it! 💚
