Blackberry Peach Crisp

I just found out that July – September is peach season! My local grocery store had the most perfect large peaches at the beginning of September and I finally gave in and bought a bag lol.

Lately on Instagram people have been posting a healthy peach crisp recipe that makes 1 serving and you stick in the air fryer. So that gave me the idea to make a bigger and even better version. 😈

I started browsing through Pinterest so I can get some ideas on what measurements and ingredients to use and then I freestyled a little and added my own twist. BLACKBERRIES! Since blackberries are too pricey for my pockets, I bought them frozen and they worked perfectly! Since the peaches were nice and ripened the blackberries and lemon juice helped balance out the sweetness. ((I think next time I might add a little more berries and lemon juice))

Not to brag but I think this recipe is damn near perfect haha. And it can be made in so many different ways. I’ve already decided that I’ll make this for Thanksgiving and use apples and cranberries! 🤤🤤

I hope you all give it a try and let me know if you did anything different. 💚

Cinnamon Sugar Chips and Sautéed Apples

My mother in law happened to buy the wrong tortillas one day and lucky me because she gave them all to us!

I was craving something sweet so I thought of making unhealthy chips and boy oh boy. They were tha bomb! I wanted something else to eat with them so I sautéed some apples and ahhh my mouth is drooling just typing this.

This can be a great appetizer for guests or even a holiday meal. Instead of apples you can do chocolate, cranberry sauce, or even homemade icing lol…basically the possibilities are endless.

My mom liked them so much that she’s going to make it for Thanksgiving and use a pumpkin cookie cutter on the tortillas…yup she’s cute like that. Let me know if you think of an exciting dipping sauce to pair with this sweet treat. 💚

Chocolate Banana Bread

Do you ever make things because you’re trying to get rid of ingredients in the house? That’s how most of my recipes get created lol. I had a can of cocoa powder in the house for monthhhss, shoot maybe even a year or two. And I went to my fave place Pinterest and started searching different ideas and came across this vegan bread.

If you love chocolate covered bananas then you’ll love this! My husband and mother in law were not fans at all lol. So I gave the leftovers to my neighbor and they said it was yummy.

The olive oil makes it very moist and the choc isn’t overpowering and you get an after taste of banana with each bite. You don’t have to put nuts on top but I say it makes a big difference to help balance out the sweetness. Fingers crossed that you’ll enjoy it. 🤞💚
